Single & Confused

Don't know anything about your finances? THAT'S NORMAL! We are NEVER taught about money in school and most of our parents don't teach us either. You already took the first step- taking this quiz! See below for your next ones :)
Your 4 Personalized Action Steps:
- Unpack Your Past: Most of our money habits are solidified by the time we are 7 years old! AKA in 2nd grade! Yep, the relationship you have to your finances was established when you were a kid. So first of all — stop blaming yourself… most of us have never worked through our money relationship. It isn’t something therapists usually cover LOL! And second of all, help is on the way! Grab your journal, it's time to unpack your relationship with money.
Here are some prompts:
- What's your first money memory?
- How did it make you feel?
- Was it positive or negative?
- How does that money memory dictate your relationship to money now? Do you see any links?
- How do you want your relationship with money to change?
- Create a budget: Track your income and expenses to gain a clear understanding of your cash flow. If you want to supercharge your budget, use my Money Book.
- Build an emergency fund: Set aside three months of living expenses in a high yield savings account as a safety net for unexpected circumstances.
