SANTA’S LITTLE BUDGETER

You’ve got a thique social calendar this holiday season and not a lot of financial wiggle room- so if you’re not careful, you’re gonna incur debt buying presents.

Just because your entire personality is Christmas cocktails, Hill House Home Holiday Dresses, and tinsel doesn’t mean your bank account has to suffer.

First things first- figure out how much you can afford to spend. Look at the budget & come up with a number. Then- prioritize. You do not need to be giving your coworker the same $200 gift as your mother.

Also, you don’t need to get everyone something. Homemade is really special too! I really believe that the holidays are also a really good time to create a personal brand for yourself as the COOKIE PERSON or CHAMPAGNE MAMA. Give one signature gift a year (that’s low cost) and become famous for it. This will take away from the struggle of fitting everyone into your budget.

Here is the famous $250 Neiman Marcus cookie recipe. Bake these, put them in a tin, and write a homemade card. Boom:

Here’s the wine club I use to buy natural wines in bulk. You can buy 6 bottles for $155 which equals out to $25/ bottle:

Primal Wine Club

Or champagne for $13/ bottle:

Prosecco 12-Pack

Or a non alcoholic spirit for $39 a bottle!
